There are no egos here
At Arete CrossFit we are about growth, opportunity and inclusion. Our qualified coaches, our programming and our community will ensure you have the best hour of your day, each and every day you are with us.
CrossFit
The official definition of CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movement, done at relatively high intensity. What that means in English is we do a wide variety of different workouts, comprised of simple body-weight and free-weight movements, and we are pushing ourselves as hard as we want to or can on that day.
It is an incredible experience when you are working out with other people who are all there to just train.
Whether you want to move better through life, you need to fight off or reverse the onset of type 2 diabetes or heart disease, you want to lose fat, you want to build muscle and lose fat or you are an elite athlete looking to be better, then CrossFit is exactly what you need.
There is no training like CrossFit.
Conditioning
The Arete CrossFit conditioning classes are 30min of intense metabolic conditioning. You will not need any more.
Designed to push your limits further, build a greater cardiovascular endurance capacity and get you fit for life.
Olympic Lifting
Weightlifting is a foundation component of CrossFit.
There are many components to weightlifting with lifts such as the Clean and Jerk and Snatch having very technical elements. Our Olympic Lifting technique sessions are included in the unlimited membership and will help you develop your lifting technique for safer and more efficient lifting.
Skills
We all need to PRACTICE those little things, the finer points of training that ultimately complete the package and make us better.
During these sessions we practice variations, component drills or scaling options for gymnastics movements. For example, we may practice handstand walks, handstand holds and complete drills of these movements to help us become more efficient at them.
It is a low impact practice only session.
New To Crossfit?
If you are new to CrossFit, have had a long break from training or never trained before, our New To CrossFit sessions are exactly for you.
Limited to very small groups or one on one so we can cover everything you need to ensure your first classes with us are fun and positive.
These sessions set you up for your CrossFit future and ensure we know everything about your training past and any challenges you may be facing.
